MOUNTAIN ELITE
ALL STAR CHEER & TUMBLING
We began with a few small group and private tumbling classes in 2020, and officially became Mountain Elite in 2021! We offer low-commitment tumbling classes and one-on-one lessons for every age and skill level as well as All-Star competitive and performance based cheer teams that train year round. Athletes are involved in the High Country community, perform locally, and compete regionally.

Hi! I'm Amanda Christine Power Hood, but you can call me Mandi or "Coach." I moved to Boone, NC in the spring of 2019 from New York City, and started Mountain Elite in summer of 2020!

Meet Coach Madison! Madison is a recent Appalachian State University graduate who works in fashion and third yea year Mountain Elite Coach. She's from Shelby, NC has been cheerleading since she was 7 years old! She has experience with choreography and spotting various tumbling skills.

Meet Coach Emma! Emma is a 2x national champion from Winston Salem that cheered at Cheer Extreme Allstars. She was also a varsity cheerleader all 4 years of high school, served as captain, worked with a special needs team and won a bronze medal at Worlds! She is a political science pre-law major at App State and in her second year of coaching at Mountain Elite.

Meet Coach Saige! Saige is a national champion from High Point, North Carolina that cheered at Cheer Extreme Saige has been involved in dance, gymnastics and cheer since she was very young, has a silver medal from Wolds and a gold from Summit! Saige is a sophomore at App State studying elementary education.

Meet Coach MEB! Mary Elisabeth, also known as MEB, is from Cary, NC. She has been cheering since the age of 10, participating in high school and on all-star teams. She continued her cheerleading journey at Appalachian State University for the past four years and is currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design. MEB is also the Mountain Elite Executive Assistant.

Meet Coach Caroline! Caroline is a Junior at App State who is originally from Statesville, NC. She was a highly competitive cheerleader for 9 years on teams levels 1-5, and has coached 5-16 year olds for 5 years!

Meet Coach Kyndall! She is from Gastonia, NC and has been cheering since she was 8 years old including in high school and on an all star team. She also helped coach her former all star team before graduating from Appalachian State. Kyndall was the coach of our very first team in Boone and continued for 3 years! She is now a guest coach and choreographer.

Meet Coach Tiffany! She's from Davie County North Carolina and is currently a nursing major and Varsity cheerleader at Appalachian State University. She has been a cheerleader for 15 years and has extensive experience in all star, school competition, and sideline cheer.
